Senate Cuts Cheney's Funding

In a valiant effort by Democrats to force Vice President Cheney to comply with Constitutional Law, they have cut $4.8 million of his budget. Cheney has refused for some time now to release how much information the executive branch classifies and declassifies. In an attempt to rise above the law Cheney and the Whitehouse have stated that he does not in fact classify as an "agency" of the executive branch thus he does not have to follow the same laws. Although some think this is going to negatively impact the relationship between the Senate and the Executive branches it seems that this relationship has already been experiencing some problems. I am glad to see that Democrats are finally refusing to back down when the Executive Branch is obviously abusing their power.
